Monthly all-vintage shopping event in Uptown uncovers all things Retro Chicago for season?s penultimate show
A parking garage in Uptown comes alive the third Sunday of each month at Vintage Garage Chicago (xxxx N. Broadway) - for the Sept. 20 show, shoppers can indulge in all things Retro Chicago - think souvenirs from the Chicago World?s Fair, tshirts from long-gone establishments and kitschy reminders of yesterday?s Chicago. The market runs from 10am- 5pm.
Vintage Garage Chicago features 100 of the Midwest?s best vintage and antique dealers, selling anything and everything vintage, from midcentury furniture and decor, to retro fashion, jewelry and so much more. Vendors highlight their booths with items from the month?s theme, but stock a variety of items and styles spanning the decades. Be on the lookout for featured Retro Chicago items, like jewelry, ephemera and clothing.
Fashion aficionados take note: there?s no better place in Chicago to scope some serious vintage street style. Shoppers at Vintage Garage Chicago dress in their retro best for the market event each month, and the outfits, down to the hair, shoes and accessories are to die for.

Vintage Garage Chicago takes place the third Sunday of every month, April through October inside the parking garage at xxxx N. Broadway in Uptown. Public transit riders can take the Red Line to the Argyle stop, or the No. 36 North Broadway bus. The event is rain or shine, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., $5 at the gate.
